Meet The Family
Werner Fourie
Optometrist | Owner
Werner is a young and energetic optometrist that grew up in George. With his roots here, he knows and interacts with a wide variety of people and loves what he does.
He has a passion for sport and loves a new challenge. Adventurous, optimistic and creative, he brings a new dimension to eye care. Werner qualified from the University of the Free State with a Bachelors degree in Optometry.
He is also one of only a few optometrists that has a permit issued by the Department of Health, that allows him to use diagnostic agents for the rendering of specialised optometric services for example, gonioscopy, dilated funduscopy, cycloplegic refraction, applanation tonometry and more.
Liscinda van Eck
Practice Manager | Sister
Liscinda is Werner’s vibrant and very artistic sister.
Together they form a strong team that understands the true vision of Werner Fourie Optometrists and Eyewear Boutique.
You will never see Liscinda not smiling and she will always place the patient’s needs in front of hers.
She also has a degree in tourism and is a mother and wife for two blessed men.
Bernadette Fourie
Administration & Accounts | Mother
As most mothers she works very hard behind the scenes to ensure that her family is healthy and looked after, so is Bernadette also the mother of Werner Fourie Optometrists & Eyewear Boutique.
After working many years in the financial department for large companies and corporations, she now prefers the tranquillity of George and enjoys having her children and grandchild near her.
